In order to get over that hump that you may stumble upon with it comes to interacting with women that you are interested in you MUST increase your level of confidence.  The only sure fire method of increasing your confidence is to get out there and get your hands dirty.   If you wish you can look at it as a game with three main parts. 1. Opening moves, 2. The Mid Game,  3. Closing moves Yes its almost that freaking simple believe it or not.   I’m not as crazed as I used to be but there was a time when I’d challenge myself I’d see a woman that caught my eye and I’d move in for the attack.  Trust me I’ve gotten shot down quite a few times but I’ve been successful more times than I’ve been shot down.   I’ve been at the car wash looking like I fell off of a potato truck and I’ve gotten a chicks number,  I’ve got numbers at gas stations, parties I’ve attended, even chicks I’ve just seen walking down the street while I was driving.   You have to trust me on this one you have to just go for it I’ve tried coaching dudes and in some cases its like trying to get someone to go sky diving and they just wont jump out of the plane.  To challenge myself I through myself directly into the combat zone into the belly of the beast Strip Clubs.  Once I was able to score a chicks number who faces a multitude of men for hours on end I knew my formula was finely sharpened.   Don’t get me wrong this was not a one time fluke I’ve done it a few times and no I didn’t spend an ass load of cash in the process in some cases nothing and at the most I may have brought her a drink.  Why the belly of the beast I bet you’re thinking.  I can not think of an environment where the odds are stacked against you any higher well maybe if you try booking chicks in the waiting area of your local child support office LOL.   Once you have your confidence up you have to find a hunting environment which is comfortable for you.  Night clubs are tough because chicks are on full guard but if your approach is correct and your confidence is in order it can be done.  Keep in mind that clubs have a higher rejection rate than non meat market settings.  I will get into more detail on the actual interaction in an upcoming post.

As you can see from the poll above more that half of those who responded have difficultly approaching women.  Lets see want can be done to make that number lower.

We all have difficulty at some time or another approaching women different factors contribute to that difficulty.   From my conversations with fellas I’ve learned that the number one concern is REJECTION!!  Nobody likes rejection unless you are a glutton for punishment.  There is no sure fire way to avoid rejection its pretty much like when you play basketball and you take shot.  There is no guarantee that you will make that shot but you do try to position you self in a good spot to hopefully make your attempt successful.   Well approaching women has a lot in common with taking that shot.   If you hesitate before taking your shot there’s a good chance someone will steal the ball away from you.   If you are hasty and just toss it sloppily like its on fire you are probably going to blow the shot.   I’ve learned what I know about picking up women through trial and error and talking to female friends.   I purchased a book a few years ago that I came across on Amazon called The Game while reading the book something struck me about the content the book contained tips and skills that took me years to learn and develop.

The most important action is taking the shot, procrastination is your worst enemy.  The next time you are out at a bar or a club scope out a hot chick from a distance.  Now if you expand your field of view you will most likely see guys in a holding pattern trying to build up the nerve to approach her.   In the book it states that you basically have a short time after you make eye contact to successfully approach a woman.  If you are one to stall, pace around and wait for the damn stars to align before you make a move you are blowing your opportunity.
